BABY PHOTOSHOOT INFORMATION
your baby is on the spotlight - the star of the session! i focus on smiles, eyes, & the cutest moments + interactions in between.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE A BABY PHOTOSHOOT?
i recommend capturing photos of your baby at three different milestones before turning one!
milestone 1: when baby is able to hold their head up during tummy time (around 4 months)
milestone 2: when baby is able to sit on their own for five minutes or more aka. sitter session (around 6-12 months)
milestone 3: when baby is turning one! check out my cake smash packages. (around 11-13 months)
alternative choice: 3, 6, 9, & 12 month sessions are wonderful!!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
please bring diapers, wipes, 1-2 outfits for baby, brush (if baby has hair), pacifier (if using), fun entertaining toys & your baby's favorite to capture in the photo (optional), + however you are feeding. it is good to have a bottle/snacks available for when your little one becomes fussy. please keep in mind unless you are okay with your little one having a mouth full of food in your photos, snacks will be used as a last resort. I provide the decor and props depending on chosen package and also have a client closet selection available without any additional cost.
HOW LONG IS A BABY SESSION?
baby sessions may take up to 30 minutes to an hour plus some. I'm flexible with session timing! please plan to have your little one well-rested (as much as you can) and filled with a happy belly prior to session. if possible, please do not let your child fall asleep during the car ride on the way to the photoshoot as it may be difficult for them to transition from their mini car nap. breaks are welcomed in case your baby needs one. plan on having a fun time & lots of giggles!
WHEN & WHERE WILL THE PHOTOSHOOT TAKE PLACE?
baby sessions are typically held in my home studio in sunnyvale. I am also open to traveling if you prefer to do the photoshoot in the comfort of your home or outdoor location! keep in mind, there may be an additional cost depending on distance from my studio to your home.
